Access: Car parking available at Fernworthy reservoir. Circle is in a clearing by one of the (many) Forrestry Commision tracks through Fernworthy Forest.
If you have the energy to walk a further 1.5 miles, the Grey Wethers double stone circle is well worth a visit.
So far this is my only (known) encounter with an Adder, our single native venemous snake.
